Over the last 20 years, the association has gathered together most of the artwork of the musee Fournaise current collection and officially donated it to the city of Chatou on November the 25th, 2000.The association constantly acquires new artwork and so continues to participate in the development of the collection. In 2000 and 2003,for example, along with the city of Chatou and the conseil general des Yvelines, the association purchased two early pieces from the most famous of Chatou’s born painters, Andre Derain and a watercolour from Albert Lebourg.

Each year, visits and other cultural events revolving around the impressionist theme are offered to their members.
